It is 7 am! The 16th Hungarian Dance Festival has just started!!

No, I haven't gone mad :-). I am fully aware that the official opening is going to take place this evening. However, the first online show is available from now until 10pm. Bleeding Creek performed by Inversedance - Zoltán Fodor Company is based on a ballad Mistress Ágnes, written by János Arany, a Hungarian poet of the 19th century, and it examines the question of sin and punishment.

I wish I could say that what happened in 2020 stays in 2020… You may be still restricted from travels and cannot attend the festival in person. However, on a positive note, you will be able to enjoy and get an idea of Hungarian dance art as shows will be available online every single day during the whole week. The time frame (from 7 am to 10 pm, GMT +2) is really generous which will make it easy to either carve out some time during your lunch break or watch the performances while enjoying your nightcap.
